Biographical Sketch:
Son of John and Susan (Smidt or Shurtz) Widoe. He moved to Michigan in 1867. IN 1873, he moved to Hart, MI working as a branch manager for his father's clothing establishment. In March 1877, he became its proprietor. He was president of Hart village for 5 years; and president and secretary of the board of education for 3 years. He was probate judge in 1900.
