Biographical Sketch:
He was admitted to the bar in Macomb Co. in 1837 and to the bar in the Oakland circuit court, in October, 1839 He lived in Shelby before moving to Utica, MI, where he served as justice of the peace; he was Macomb Co. prosecuting attorney from 1842-44. He was living in Clinton, MI in 1860. He was appointed US Judge in one of the western territories during the Lincoln administration, where he died.
