Biographical Sketch:
Youngest child of Milton L. and Lydia [or Sarah] (Carpenter) Lincoln. Enlisted in the 23rd NY inf. for 2 yrs., 1861. Wounded in the arm in Virginia. After his discharge, he acted as sutler for the 148th NY Inf. until the close of the war. He went into business with his brothers in Richmond, VA briefly, engaging in farming & other business interests in NY before moving to Mason, MI in 1871. In 1881, he moved to Huron Co. and continued in the livestock business.He moved a great deal, living in NY, Colorado & Missouri before coming back to Sand Beach, MI. He was a boot and shoe dealer and later dealt in livestock. He served as Mason county treasurer.
