Youngest son of Andrew W. & Sophia (Wilkins) Webber. Moved to Michigan , 1852, with his brother. Farmed & operated a mercantile business before entering the lumber business. Maintained a farm near Ionia. He was elected president of the Ionia Agricultural Society twice and was mayor of the city of Ionia. He served as one of the directors and vice president of the Second National Bank; president of the Ionia Farmers' Mutual Insurance Co.
