Biographical Sketch:
He moved to Oakland Co., MI with his parents, Elisha S. and Hannah [or Maria] (Ellis) Salisbury, in 1843. In 1846, they moved to what became Burton, in Genesee Co. He practiced medicine for a time, but from 1869-70, he practiced in Kansas and Nebraska. He returned to Michigan in 1871, establishing himself as a druggist, physician and surgeon, in Midland. He was moderator on the school board of Midland City, was county physician; mayor of the town twice, and superintendent of poor of his county.
