Biographical Sketch:
Son of Isaac and Sarah A. (Cole) Willitts. His family moved from Saline to Newton, in Calhoun Co. about 1863. He filled the positions of clerk, correspondence clerk and acting secretary of the State board of health. He founded the Marshall News which he edited and published 8 years. He served 2 terms as supervisor of the first ward of Marshall.
