Biographical Sketch:
Son of David and Marion (Black) Forrester. His family moved to Richmond, MI in Oct. 1867. He quit school at 13 when his father died and began clerking. In1886, at 23, he started a business in St. Clair. He moved to Millington, MI from 1888-92, partnering in business with C.B. Clough. In early 1892, he moved to Deckerville and opened a retail business with F.B. Fuller for 5 years. He continued the business with others. He served on the Deckerville school board for 21 years and was a trustee of the First Presbyterian Church for over 30 years. Member of the Masons; the Knights of Pythias; and the Knights Templar.
