Biographical Sketch:
Son of Daniel and Lucia A. (Richmond) Bosley. From 1859-1871, he worked in Lakeville, NY, in a general store business. He came to MI in 1871, resided in Marshall after 1876 and for 6 years had a carriage and implement business. He established a general hardware store from 1882-93 when he took his son D. W. Bosley into partnership with him under the name W. E. Bosley and Son. He also owned two farms. He held the offices of Alderman and Mayor of Marshall.

Notable Facts:
His family emigrated from England and were among the early settlers of Maryland.
