Biographical Sketch:
From 1859-1871 worked in Lakeville NY in general store business. Came to MI in 1871, resided in Marshall after 1876 and for six years had a carriage and implement business. Established a general hardware store in 1882 until 1893 when he took his son D. W. Bosley into partnership with him under the name W. E. Bosley and Son. Hea also owned two farms. Held the offices of Alderman and Mayor of Marshall.

Notable Facts:
His family emigrated from England and were among the early settlers of Maryland.
