Biographical Sketch:
Of English parents, Joseph and Harriett (Woodhams) Heald. His father was one of the pioneer lumbermen of Michigan. He moved to Grand Rapids from Montague in 1882. He studied law in the office of Butterfield & Keeney, and was admitted to the bar in 1900. He became a member of the law firm of Stuart & Heald January 1 ,1902. He was President of Grand Rapids Garages, Inc. Member of Psi Upsilon fraternity.
