Biographical Sketch:
Of English descent. He studied law in an Ovid law office for 2 years before attending the University of Michigan. He was admitted to the bar in 1898. He practiced in Chicago (1898-1907) and Marion, IN (2 years) before returning to Ovid, in 1910, to practice law there. He served as Clinton County supervisor for 30 years. Member of the Rotary Club and was on the county hospital board.
