Biographical Sketch:
Died in 1943. According to House Resolution No 9, 1944 House Journal. p. 7, he died 8/8/1943 in Northville, Michigan. His father died when he was ten years old and his mother, when he was sixteen. Finding himself without a home, he went to live with a neighboring family, doing chores for his board and schooling. He engaged in the mercantile business for six years after which he was employed in the county treasurer's office for six years also was postmaster for ten years.

Notable Facts:
Republican and was elected to the legislature in 1918 and 1920 and re-elected November 7, 1922, without opposition.
