He came to the US in 1911 and resided in Atlantic City, NJ for about a year before coming to Michigan. He worked at a box factory in Detroit; engaged in real estate business. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1920 and then to Long Beach in 1926. He began practicing law there in 1927 and belonged to the Long Beach Bar Association and the California State Bar. Member of the Masons; president of the Long Beach B'nai B'rith. He was president of the Apex Wood Products Co.
