Biographical Sketch:
Of English descent. Son of Richard and Ann (Crowsen) Richards. He came to Michigan with his parents at age 2. He lived and worked on a farm until 1890, when he moved to the state of Washington where he looked after the farming interests of George Vanderbilt for 5 years. After ranching for a few years, he returned to Michigan and followed farming until 1910. Moving to Albion, he engaged in looking after the interests of non - residents and the administration of estates.
