Biographical Sketch:
Son of Timothy and Polly Olds.After living in New York and Ohio, he settled in Batavia, MI in 1838. He was the first supervisor there and held the office for 7 years. He was probate judge for 8 years. He was president of the company that started the first paper in Branch County. He moved to Yamhill County, OR in 1851 where he was a post master, probate judge and delegate to their constitutional convention.
