Biographical Sketch:
Of English descent. Son of Edward and Esther (Ellsworth) Prosser. He passed the examination of the State Board of Pharmacy in 1889 and engaged in the drug business for 8 years. In 1897, he went into the produce business with J.E. Ottaway & Co. of Flushing. He was working for the U.S. Dept. of Revenue Collection at the time of his death.
