Biographical Sketch:
Came to MI with his parents when he was 3 months old. Served on the Escanaba board of education including three years as secretary and two years as board president. Elected and served as Mayor of Escanaba in 1912 and refused the nomination for a second term.

Notable Facts:
Practiced medicine and surgery in: Garden, Delta county for 3 1/2 years; then moved to Escanaba. Was county physician for seven years, then became surgeon at St. Francis Hospital, Escanaba.
