Served in both chambers. Died in 1943. Educated in public schools, Ferris Institute of Big Rapids and Benton Harbor College. Republican and was elected to the legislatures of 1919-1920 and 1921-1922, and was re-elected November 7, 1922, by a vote of 3,678 to 2,031 for J. A. Simon.
