Biographical Sketch:
He settled in Redford in 1828. He was appointed justice of the peace under the territorial regime in 1830 and held the office by appointment and election until his death, April 6, 1854. He also served some thirteen years as supervisor, town clerk and treasurer. He was a member of the constitutional convention of 1835.
