He came to Jonesville, Mich., in 1836. After a few years' practice in Jonesville, he moved to Hillsdale, and then to Jackson in 1853, and from there to Newaygo. He held the position of USt Judge in the Territory of Arizona. He was also County Judge of Hillsdale County in 1847.
