Taught in country schools before graduating from HS.

Notable Facts:
Was awarded "Master Farmer" in 1939; director of the Michigan Milk Producers Association for 15 years; also served as a director on the Detroit Dairy Council Board, the American Dairy Association of Michigan and served 25 years on the school board. As farmer, specialized in purebred dairy cattle. According to HCR 542, 1974 House Journal, 2702, he had died. Prior entry in the data base indicated that he had died 8/13/1974 in North Branch.
