Mayor of Lansing, MI, 1969-81. Member, Eagles; Elks; Jaycees. According to the Social Security Index he died 4/4/2006.

Notable Facts:
Still living as of 1981. In 1944 at the age of 21 he held the rank of lieutenant commander, USMS. In 1948 he passed the necessary examinations and received an unlimited masters license whereby he could command a ship of an tonnage on any ocean & soonafter became a ship Captain. HR 246, 2006 House Journal, p. 910, reported that he had died. No date or place of death.
