Served as clerk of Green township for six years, and as supervisor for twenty years, eight years of which he was chairman of the board. He was also deputy oil inspector for eight years.
Notable Facts:
Elected to the legislature in 1914, 1916, 1922, 1924 and 1926, and re-elected November 6, 1928, without opposition.
Came to Michigan with his parents in 1869 who settledon a farm in Green township.
