Educated in the public schools of Cass county, Valparaiso University and University of Michigan, graduating from the law department in 1898.

Biographical Sketch:
Son of John and Eliza J.(Wright) Huff. In 1899 he established a law office at Marcellus, and has been in continual practice of law at that place since that time. He served as township treasurer and village president of the board of education; Cass County Prosecuting Attorney, 1915-16. In 1927 he helped organize the state bank of Marcellus, and was elected its first president, which position he held until 1931.
