Acquired his education in the schools of Rypin and Cracow, Poland.
Biographical Sketch:
He served in the Spanish and European wars. He was proficient in eight languages and dialects and was employed in the foreign departments of Cleveland and Pittsburgh banks. Also was engaged in newspaper work and in banking. He became naturalized in the Superior Court of Grand Rapids, March 28, 1900. Was a registered pharmacist and proprietor of a drug store in Hamtramck. Has held the offices of township clerk and justice of the peace.
