He graduated from the Schoolcraft schools and attended the Baptist college at Kalamazoo.
Biographical Sketch:
He taught for a bit after school. For twenty years he conducted a grain elevator business at Schoolcraft, adding to it the flour milling business at Constantine. Member of the Masonic lodge. Has served as township treasurer and an officer of the school board of Schoolcraft, also as village president of Constantine and supervisor of Constantine township. According to House Resolution No. 19, 1944 House Journal, p. 85, he died 7/3/1944 in Constantine, Michigan.

Republican and was elected to the legislature in 1922, 1924, and re-elected November 2, 1926, by a vote of 3,526 to 2,438 for Albert E. Beebe.
