Biographical Sketch:
Son of Colonel Stephen and Temperance (Bond) Mack. He came to Michgian in1822, joining his father in Pontiac. A colonel in the Michigan militia. Trained Michigan militia after his arrival in Oakland Co. He had a sawmill in Rochester, MI. He was a merchant in Rochester from 1830-53 and held many positions. Elected justice of the peace 1845 and 1852; served as township supervisor.

Notable Facts:
He was a twin. He was a cousin to Joseph Smith, founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Sains.
