He was educated in St. Frances parochial school, and graduated at the age of thirteen years.

Biographical Sketch:
Of Polish parents. Held a job as pin setter in a bowling alley, which he held for six years. After his parents death took over the small family grocery and liquor business in which his farher was engaged. He was successful in this business, and in 1918 he opened Wojcik's Four Per Cent Savings Bank. In 1919 he purchased an intrest in the Polish Daily News, which he later controlled, and also the Polish-American Publishing Co., a subsidiary. Also was vice-president of the Ford State Bank and president of the First Detroit Commercial Corporation, Wojick's Four Per Cent Savings Bank and the Polish-American Publishing Co.
