Biographical Sketch:
He was the son of Col. Joshua Leland and Waitstill Greenwood. He came to Michigan in 1831, and settled in Washtenaw County. He was president of the Washtenaw County Agricultural Society, of the Farmers' Insurance Company, and of the County Pioneer society.
