    He moved to Troy in 1955. Mayor of Troy, MI, 1959-1964. Served on the board of supervisors, Oakland Co., MI, 1959-1964; owner and chairman of the board, Michigan Chrome & Chemical Co. He was a founder of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Troy and a board member of the St. Francis Home for Boys in Detroit. Member of  Rotary; Elks; American Legion; Catholic War Veterans; Economic Club of Detroit; Detroit Board of Commerce; Detroit Athletic Club; University Club; Yale Club of New York; Otsego Ski Club; Young Presidents Organizations; BPOE. Former chairman of Michigan chapter.  Past president and director of Plating Institute of Michigan.
