Biographical Sketch:
Son of Edward Alexander and Lillian Marie (nee Maxwell, later Haindel) Dingwell. He was a lifelong resident of Lansing, MI. He served as a Marine medic in the South Pacific and China. He worked for Kold Hold Manufacturing where he was elected President of his union local. He was the Education representative and vice-president for the AFL-CIO Council and the International UAW representative for Michigan; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Michigan, 1956;

Notable Facts:
Forbes Magazine's first feature article on labor was about Mr. Dingwell. He focus was on safety inspection of industrial buildings, taxes and civil rights. Defeated, 1954 (Ingham County 1st District), 1956 (Ingham County 1st District), 1958 (Ingham County 1st District), 1966 (58th District), 1968 (58th District).
