Biographical Sketch:
She was a patent attorney and medical research institute agent. She was named Legislator of the Year by the Michigan Probate Judges Association for her work on legislation to help protect the mentally ill and children. She also served as a panelist at the World Stem Cell Summit in Detroit. She was active on numerous community boards, including the Hazel Park Promise Zone. She was Governor Granholm's appointee to the State Board of Accountancy and Governor Snyder's appointee to the Indigent Defense Commission.
