Graduated from Central Lake high school in 1907. Graduated Michigan State Normal College in 1909. Entered the law school at the U. of M., graduating with the degree of LL. B in 1917.

Biographical Sketch:
He was principal of Marion high school for one year and then spent two years in the chemical engineering department at the U. of M. For three years he taught science in the Big Rapids high school. He served in the artillery during the world war, after which he engaged in the practice of law at Grand Ledge, Michigan. June 1, 1926, he moved to Charlotte and engaged in the practice of law under the firm name of Sowers & Cameron. Held the rank of Major of Field Artillery in the reserve corps and in the 119th Reg. of Field Artillery, Michigan National Guard.

Notable Facts:
Republican and was elected to the legislature November 2, 1926, by a vote of 4,499 to 2,213 for John B. Strange. According to House Journal,1957, HR 13, p. 184 he had died. No date or place of death was given.
