Biographical Sketch:
Son of Loviness and Zelia A. (Chandler) Campbell. His father died when he was eight years old, and with his mother's assistance he worked his way through school, afterwards teaching school. Later he engaged in farming. He served as township treasurer, supervisor and county treasurer. During World War I, he was active in Red Cross and war loan work. Engaged in farming, and breeding of registered Jersey cattle. He also wrote life insurance.
