Biographical Sketch:
Son of Nathaniel and Emily (Everett) Bostwick. Engaged in business in Syracuse NY for a short time after his marriage. Moved to Union City, Branch Co., MI, in 1864, where he farmed. He was supervisor one term.

Notable Facts:
He was a member of the Loyal League (Republican), and voted the republican ticket until 1884, when he joined the prohibition party; upon the division of the party at Pittsburg he united with the nationalists or broad gauge wing. Nepew of Rep. Ezra Bostwick [1869-70 session]
