Biographical Sketch:
He moved to Albion, MI with his parents in May, 1846. Admitted to the bar 8/15/1872. He moved to Oscoda, Iosco Co., MI, 8/21/1872. Elected prosecuting attorney of Iosco Co., 1872 and 1874; appointed county superintendent of schools February 1873; elected circuit court commissioner, 1874 and served as a trustee of the Oscoda gradred schools. He was living in Idaho in 1913 when he applied for a passport.
