Biographical Sketch:
Son of William B. and Eleanor (Bolger) Donnelly. He moved to Michigan in Port Huron 1870 and to Detroit in December of 1870. He opened his own law office in Detroit in 1873. He was 2nd Lt. in Co. C, 1st Regiment of the Michigan State Troops. In 1877 he was elected captain of the Mongomery Rifles. Served as Michigan Attorney General in 1886.
