Biographical Sketch:
Son of Schuyler and Mary (Anderson) Granger. He first came to Michigan in 1863. In 1863, he went to Washington as a medical cadet, and in 1864 was an acting assistant surgeon in the 189th New York Infantry, serving 9 months with that regiment, it being mustered out in June, 1865. He was with his regiment, and was present at Lee's surrender. He at first commenced practice in Bay City, but in August, 1867, moved to the village of Unionville, where he located permanently. He was president of the village of Unionville, and has held the position of county coroner and several other minor township offices. In 1900 he was living in Bay City, MI. Member of the Masons.
