Biographical Sketch:
Son of Perry Henderson. Moved to Michigan with his father in 1845, spending the summer in Oakland County before settling in LeRoy Township, Ingahm County. In 1854 he moved to Mason, MI. He was appointed deputy county clerk in 1863 and elected County Clerk in 1864, serving through 1866. He was admitted ot the bar in 1867. He was elected to the common council in spring, 1867. He formed a partnership with Judge Huntington from 1868-75 until the latter was elected circuit cout judge. Henderson was elected prosecuting attorney in 1874 for 1 term. In 1877, he was hired by the Board of Supervisors to assist the prosecuting attorney with a murder case. He served on the Mason school board and was director of the First Natioanl Bank. He held various minor offices.
