Biographical Sketch:
He moved to Indiana with his parents in 1851. He was the son of a Methodist minister. He taught for one year before studying medicine. He practiced medicine for one year in Indiana before moving his practice to Newaygo County, MI in 1870. He served as justice of the peace, town clerk and superintendent of schools. He wa living in Sheridan, MI in 1880
