Biographical Sketch:
He moved to Michigan with his parents, Abram and Caroline (Cosens) Brake, in 1865. He lived on their farm in Kent Co. until 1897 when he moved to Newaygo Co. He was Dayton Township supervisor for 6 years. Although he spent 3 years in the mercantile trade, he lived the rest of his life on a farm. Member of the Masons; Grange and Maccabees.
