Biographical Sketch:
Son of George A. and Effie T. Prescott, uncle of George A. Prescott (1913-1988). In 1930, he was living in Shaker Heights, OH. Operated a general store connected to a lumber business & was active in the development of northeast Michigan & its natural resources. Owned & operated a cattle ranch & bred purebred & commercial Hereford cattle. Also a live stock & real estate broker. Served as president of the Northeastern Michigan Hereford Calf Association; vice president and manager of the Tawas Land Development Co.; active for many years in the development of Northeastern Michigan and her natural resources. Served as president of the Tawas City Board of Education and on the board of supervisors. Member of the Masonic Lodge and Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
