Biographical Sketch:
He came to Gratiot County, MI, with his parents, Newton L. and Mary C. (Blackwell) Case, in 1887. He helped to clear the farm on which they settled. With the exception of the summers of 1891-98, when he sailed the Great Lakes, Mr. Case lived on a farm. He served several terms on the board of supervisors, held the offices of township clerk and treasurer and in 1914 was elected county clerk of Gratiot County. Member of the Odd Fellows and Lions
