Biographical Sketch:
Scotch parentage. Son of James and Margaret (McComb) Biggerstaff. Served apprenticeship as a builder in St. Cloud. Worker as a contractor until 1913, then general insurance business. Elected to Kalamazoo city council in 1904 and served one term. The following year he was elected President and appointed chairman of finance. At the time of his death he was superintendent of construction at Kalamazoo State Hospital. Member of the Knights Templar
