Biographical Sketch:
Of Holland parentage. Son of Henry [or Heimerik] and Hannah G. (Renskers) Bosch. After the Holland fire in 1871, he moved with his parents to Vriesland, and in 1880 to Jamestown Township, Ottawa County. He taught school 15 years then engaged in farming. After 1911, he devoted his time to notary work and auctioneering and acted as secretary for the Jamestown Cooperative Creamery Co. He was deputy sheriff, justice of the peace, school inspector, township treasurer, township clerk, school director and member of the board of county canvassers. He served as secretary-treasurer of the Farmer's Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Ottawa & Allegan counties and township clerk of Jamestown.
