Biographical Sketch:
He read law in the offices of Judge O'Brien, J. Atkinson and John M. Kane. He taught school one year in northern Michigan, was a public lecturer in the United States and Canada six years, and was also connected with the circuit court and the county treasurer's office up to January 1, 1929. Was an officer of the Manistee Petroleum, Natural Gas and Oil Corporation. He served in the world war having enlisted in company F. 33rd Michigan Vol. Reg. at Fort Huron and later enlisted in the 19th U.S. Regulars.
