Biographical Sketch:
Admitted to the bar in New York. Came to Michigan in 1830 and settled near Ann Arbor, and removed from there to East Plains, Ionia county, now part of the town of Lyons, where he resided until his death in 1865. He was postmaster at Pitt, MI, and for several terms supervisor of the town of Lyons.
