Biographical Sketch:
Llewellyn J. "Lynn" Lewis served 27 years as Bangor village attorney.
Of Welsh-Irish descent. Son of Abel J. and Imogene (Sackett) Lewis. He was granted a teacher's certificate at age 18 and taught for 7 years. Admitted to Michigan Bar in 1901 and began practicing law in Bangor. After his service in the Legislature he moved to South Haven in 1926 and served the City of South Haven as city mayor. Member of Kiwanis, Freemasons, Eastern Star and Odd Fellows.
