According to House Resolution No. 16, p. 46, 1938 House Journal, Extra Session, he died 8/20/1938.
Llewellyn J. "Lynn" Lewis served 27 years as Bangor village attorney. After his service in the Legislature he moved to South Haven in 1926 and served the City of South Haven as city mayor.
Of Welsh-Irish descent. Son of Abel J. Lewis and Imogene (Sackett) Lewis.
Admitted to Michigan Bar in 1901 and began practicing law in Bangor.
Member of Kiwanis, Freemasons, Eastern Star and Odd Fellows.
Died in 1938.
