Biographical Sketch:
Son of Alonzo L. and Mary Jane (Bronson). He moved to Berrien Co. with his parents in 1862. He farmed for a time but became president of the Buchanan State Bank, 1916; president of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Co.; and director of the Investors Building and Loan Co., 1927 in Buchanan. He served as supervisor in Berrien county for 12 successive years and was chairman of the board 3 years. Member of the Odd Fellows; the Elks; and Modern Woodman of America.

Died of bronchial pneumonia.
