Biographical Sketch:
Son of Sherman and Mary A. Olmsted. His father was one of the pioneers of Midland county. Served Midland and an alderman for 8 years; superintendent of the poor for 4 years and under-sheriff, 2 years. Active in war work 1917-1918 serving as member of the war board and secretary of the Midland County chapter of the Red Cross.
