studied medicine in the University of Michigan; graduated from the University of Louisiana, then known as the New Orleans Medical College.
Biographical Sketch:
He first came to Michigan in 1848, moving to Tuscola County in 1864, where he practiced medicine. In March, 1882, he associated himself with Dr. Thomas Allen Cullis. Dr. Davis served as town clerk of Vassar, 1872-74, health officer school inspector and village trustee. In politics he was a Fusionist, backed by the Democaratic and Greenback parties.
